Computer networks. Internet.
Computer technologies. Classification. Computer technology or Information Technology (IT) is the generalized name for technology responsible for storing, transferring, processing, protecting and reproducing information using computers.
At present, the following main sections are usually singled out in the field of computer sciences: algorithms and data structures, programming languages, computer architecture, software development, databases and information retrieval systems, artificial intelligence and robotics, multimedia technologies, computer graphics, computer networks, human-computer interaction, etc.
The subject area of computer sciences can be divided into two broad subfields. The first of them includes the study of specific processes of information processing and related issues of data representation.
The second one is related to structures, mechanisms and schemes of information processing. In order to apply the main results of research in the field of computer sciences, it is necessary to possess skills in four main directions: algorithmic thinking, information representation, programming and system design.
Multimedia is the interaction of visual and audio effects under the control of interactive software using modern hardware and software, they combine text, sound, graphics, photos, videos in one digital representation.
Multimedia presentations can be conducted by a person on stage, shown through a projector or on another local playback device. Broadcast presentations can be either live or pre-recorded.
Broadcast or recording can be based on analogue or electronic storage and transmission technologies. It is worth noting that online multimedia can either be downloaded to the user’s computer and played back in some way, or it can be played directly from the Internet using streaming technology.
Multimedia produced by streaming technologies can be either live or on-demand.
Multimedia games are games in which the player interacts with the virtual environment built by the computer. The state of the virtual environment is transmitted to the player by various means of information transfer (audio, visual, tactile).
Currently, all games on the computer or game console are multimedia games. It is worth noting that in this type of games can be played alone on a local computer or console, and with other players through the local or global network.
Different multimedia data formats can be used to simplify the consumer’s perception of the information. For example, to provide information not only in text form, but also to illustrate it with audio data or video clip. In the same way, contemporary art can present everyday, everyday things in a new way.
Different forms of information provision make it possible for the consumer to interact with the information in an interactive manner.
Online multimedia is increasingly becoming object-oriented, allowing the consumer to work on information without having specific knowledge. For example, to post videos on YouTube or Yandex.
Video, the user does not need knowledge on video editing, coding and compression of information, knowledge on the device of web-servers. The user simply chooses the local file and thousands of other users of the video service can view the new video.
A multimedia Internet resource is an Internet resource where basic information is presented in the form of multimedia. It is a modern and very convenient mechanism that does not replace the performance of classical functions, but complements and expands the range of services and news for visitors.
Keywords: informatization, database, social SphereIn our modern world, everything is developing at a very high speed, and this also applies to the process of informatization of modern social society.
Nowadays it is impossible to imagine our life without using information and computer technologies. They make our lives easier, and without them, it is unimaginable to do something. In any enterprise, in any home, in any part of the world, there is no person who would not be made life easier by information technologies.
All strata of the population in different spheres use computer technologies now.
The informatization of society is a huge social process, consisting in the fact that the predominant type of activity in the field of public production is collection, accumulation, processing, storage, transfer and use of all types of information, which are carried out on the basis of various modern means of microprocessor and computer technology,
as well as on the basis of absolutely different means of information exchange.
The informatization of society provides:
- Active use of the ever-expanding intellectual potential of the society concentrated in the printed collection and scientific, production and other activities of its members;
- integration of information technologies into scientific and industrial activities, which initiate the development of all spheres of public production, intellectualization of labor activity;
- high level of information service, accessibility of any member of the society to sources of reliable information, visualization of information provided, materiality of data used.
One of the directions of the process of informatization of modern society is the informatization of education – the process of providing the sphere of education with the methodology and practice of development and optimal use of modern or, as they are called, new information technologies aimed at the realization of psychological and pedagogical goals of education and training.
The process of informatization has also affected economic sectors. Their radical improvement and adaptation to modern conditions became possible due to the mass use of the latest computer and telecommunication equipment, the formation of highly effective information and management technologies on its basis.
Means and methods of applied informatics are used in management and marketing. New technologies, based on computer technology, require radical changes in organizational management structures, its regulations, human resources, documentation system, recording and transfer of information.
